Polymath Programming is the label I give to all of my programming efforts. These may be games, applications, or libraries for other programmers.

2010-07-25: More Developments
CyborgCop is still under development, and I've continued doing a few extra bits on OpenXcom.
I have also released the first version (v0.7) of MicroFreeCell, a freeware FreeCell for Windows Mobile devices

2010-07-10: Developments
I've not updated this site for a while, and I really should make it easier to do so, and add RSS functionality too. Anyway... Here's what I've been up to lately

  • 2010-03-14: The Collector - Download Update
    Beta v0.9.1 has been released after discovering a bug that prevented network games with more than 2 people from being playable

    More reliable network code, and a few new features and fixes. I've uploaded the latest beta, and added a new YouTube video

    2010-02-26: Workhorse
    In my job, I use VisualBasic.NET, and to be honest, I think it's one of the best languages I've ever used despite the erroneous stigma attached to it. However, I have set about producing an application in C#, primarily for use on my C.V. but might have other uses. It is accompanied by a diary where I will write design choices, problems and all the other bits and pieces from the development cycle.

    2010-02-19: The Collector - Download Update
    The lobby isn't polished up yet, but you can communicate (only letters, numbers and space allowed at the moment), and the host can start the multiplayer game by pressing F1.

    2010-02-19: The Collector - Progress Update
    Spent a lot of time getting the network code working. The "lobby" area is partially set up, just need finishing a few bits. Once this is done, it will allow me to properly test the game side of the network code.

    Version 0.5 (Beta) for The Collector has been uploaded here. Single player only at the minute, but please have a go, and report any bugs to my email

    2009-12-08: The Collector
    Whilst waiting for art work for my joint project, I've started on a multiplayer game called The Collector
    It will have a single player mode, but mainly it's designed to be a simple but fun team based game where you rush around randomly generated maps trying to collect more items than opposing teams.
    There is a very basic place-holder webpage up here. I will update this a bit later on

    I decided to take the forum off. It wasn't being used very often, so there didn't seem much point...
    When I finally release my next project, it might be worth bringing it back, but until then...

    I thought it was about time that this site was updated. At the minute, most of the information is still offline, but the downloads should still work (where links are provided on a different site)
    Please bear with me, and I'll get the pages up as soon as I've redesigned them.
